The movements of this lark are not clear at all as during the winter months it seems to
'disappear' but there are no records of the birds from neighboring territories during this
period. It is probably simply overlooked when it is not breeding and calling. There is no
mistaking the bird during its summer breeding season as its monotonous 'for syrup is sweet' call
goes on and on, day and night. The lark either calls from the top of a tree or during its display flight.
