Gray Tree Frog

Gray Tree Frog
During the summer rains this frog, also known as the Foam Nest Frog, creates a foamy nest suspended from a branch overhanging a pool. The female secretes a fluid that it beaten into a sticky froth by the back legs of both male and female during mating and the eggs are laid inside. The males start to give this creaking call at the beginning of the rains and continue calling for some time.
